SERICA è una linea di arredi che nasce dalla riflessione sul carattere internazionale del territorio della laguna veneta, dalle influenze con l’oriente e la commistione tra esse. Si fa diretto riferimento agli antichi bauli che custodivano tutti i beni di valore del viaggiatore e che erano spesso veri e propri armadi, internamente rivestiti in tessuto per preservare il contenuto: li ho reinterpretati in chiave contemporanea e sotto forma di arredi per la zona giorno, lineari esternamente ma che nascondono al loro interno la preziosità della lavorazione del tessuto, che ne arricchisce le pareti interne. Il senso di stupore che si prova all’apertura ne fa un oggetto da ammirare anche, o soprattutto, quando si interagisce con esso. Il tessuto del rivestimento è composto da lino, viscosa e seta, per un risultato dalla mano vellutata (su richiesta).
L’obiettivo è quello di stabilire una connessione tra il complemento e chi ne fa uso: la chiave di lettura dei materiali, le fresature, il tessuto, danno vita a superfici che ridisegnano il quotidiano.
SERICA is a line of furniture that was inspired by reflecting on the international character of the Venetian lagoon, its Eastern influences and the blend of the two. There is a direct reference to the ancient trunks that held all the traveller's valuables and were often actually closets, lined with fabric to preserve the contents. I have reinterpreted them in a contemporary key in the form of furniture for the living area. Externally they are linear but inside they conceal the fine fabric work that enriches the interior sides. They are beautiful pieces that inspire a sense of awe both when opening and when interacting with them. The lining is made of linen, viscose and silk for a velvety result (on request).
The goal is to establish a connection between the accessory and the person using it: the materials, the wood routing and the fabric lining create surfaces that reshape the everyday.

Un discreto e misterioso contenitore per la casa o l’ufficio, dal gusto raffinato. La struttura in ottone rigato supporta la scocca in noce nazionale e il top in vetro colorato. La mensola interna, come il top, è in vetro e aiuta ad ottimizzare lo spazio interno. Le ante hanno apertura frontale con una maniglia nascosta a gola rifinita in lamina di ottone.
A discreet, mysterious and refined sideboard for the home or office. The lined brass frame supports the Italian walnut body and the coloured glass top. The inside shelf is also made of glass and optimises the interior space. The doors open at the front with a hidden groove handle in a brass foil finish.
CABINET – 108 x 56 x 160 cm h
E' un corpo suddiviso in tre parti, la centrale ha anta a battente mentre le due parti laterali si aprono a L come uno scrigno; le maniglie sono a gola, con rifinitura di ottone. Anche qui la parte interna è organizzata grazie ad un ripiano in vetro colorato come il top. Il cabinet è ideale come mobile bar, per riporre bottiglie bicchieri e accessori, e servire sfruttando il ripiano superiore.
Divided into three parts, the central part has a hinged door while the two side parts open in an L-shape like a trunk. The handles are grooved with brass finishings. The inside also has a glass shelf that is the same colour as the top. The cabinet is ideal as a bar cabinet for storing bottles, glasses and accessories, with the top shelf perfect for serving.
